Refund & Revision Policy

Every song from Forever Gift Notes is a custom digital product, written and produced from the story you share with us. Because each song is made for one person and cannot be resold, our policy is built around making sure you love it: free revisions first, and your money back if you still don't.

1. Cancel before production – 100% refund

You can cancel your order for a full refund at any time before production begins. Production begins when our team starts writing your song, usually within 24 hours of receiving your completed story details (within a few hours for Express orders). To cancel, email support@forevergiftnotes.com with your order number.

2. After production begins – free revisions

Once production has started, the order can no longer be cancelled, because the work is made only for you. Instead, every package includes free revisions:

  • Basic: 1 free revision
  • Premium: 2 free revisions
  • Express: 3 free revisions

Revisions apply to the song. Optional animated videos include their own revisions: 1 for the Animated Lyric MV and 2 for the Story Film + MV.

A revision can include fixing a name, pronunciation, lyric line or detail of your story, or adjusting the mood or tempo within the same music style. Changing to a completely different story, recipient or music style counts as a new song. Revision requests must be sent within 14 days of delivery. Revised songs are normally delivered within 2–3 business days.

2a. Love It or Your Money Back

If you have used all of the free revisions included in your package and you still don't love your song, email support@forevergiftnotes.com within 14 days of your original delivery and we will refund your order in full. No hard feelings.

  • The guarantee covers the song package. If your animated video has not been produced yet, the video add-on is refunded too. A video that has already been delivered is covered by its own revisions.
  • The guarantee applies once per customer.

3. If something goes wrong on our side

  • Late delivery: if we miss the delivery time of your package (counted from when we receive your completed story details), you may choose a full refund or a free upgrade.
  • Our mistake: if the song contains an error that does not match the details you gave us (for example a misspelled name), we fix it free of charge and it does not count toward your revisions.
  • File problems: if a file does not download or play, contact us and we will resend it right away.

4. What is not refundable

  • Requests received more than 14 days after delivery, or before the included free revisions have been used.
  • Delays caused by missing, incomplete or late story details from the customer.
  • Cancellations after production has started (your free revisions and the Love It or Your Money Back guarantee apply instead).

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

6. Please contact us first

If you are unhappy with your song for any reason, email support@forevergiftnotes.com before contacting your bank. We reply within 1 business day and will do our best to make it right.
